Business Meeting
New Officers Elected
Thanks to the officers who have served the past year
and will be leaving at the end of February:

Web Administrator Linda McMains. Current officers who have served
the past year and agreed
to serve again: President Bill Cooper and 2nd Vice President Mark
Beebe. Newly elected officers
are: 1st Vice President Joyce Schoon, Secretary Linda Jones,
Treasurer Susan Gericke and
Web Administrator Steve Quelle. Thanks and congratulations to all.
Surveys Results
The board members have reviewed the survey reply's.
Result’s are as follows:
1. If you do not regularly attend meetings,
what is your main reason?
Board’s decision: There are many reasons. Nothing can be done to
change this.
2. Is meeting every Thursday too often?
If so, how many times a month should we meet?
Board’s decision: Keep meetings every Thursday night.
3. Would you like to see more parties or special events on club night?
Board’s decision: Current holiday parties are adequate. The last Thursday of each month will
be open dancing, no teaching new dances.
4. How do you feel about raising yearly club dues by $5, or doors fees by $3 to help with
expenses (rent, etc)?
Board decision: No increases for 2009.
5. What suggestions do you have that would improve the club, increase attendance
or bring in new members?
Boards decision: Appoint a membership committee to review suggestions made to
draw new members.

Yearly membership dues are
from March thru February and are due by March 1. Payments
are $15 per person and should be given to Sharon Boardman.
